UMNO can never change their prejudice, extremism and communalism if BN component parties still remain and allow UMNO to rule this country.

Najib Abdul Razak has urged Malaysians to respect leaders ‘...as rude behaviour targeted at those in power could lead to economic losses and national instability'.
This is an obvious reference to some Hindraf supporters' decision not to greet the PM, his deputy and his cabinet ministers during the Hari Raya Open House at PWTC. Maybe Najib is already looking forward to his time as the most powerful man in Malaysia and envisaging adoring, doting followers kissing his hand as he walks by imperiously, as if often the case in our country.
It is appalling that a public figure like Najib should ask the people of Malaysia to ‘respect' politicians, when they are the ones who are the servants of the people. Their duty is to serve the rakyat, to take care of the people's concerns and to ensure this country develops and fulfils its inherent potential.
And yet we have people like Najib who seem to forget that the only reason they are in those chairs today is because of us. Malaysians respect and honour the royalty, our Agong and the Malay Rulers.
We do not have to bend over and kiss the feet of corrupt politicians who are often implicated in scandals, corruption and even murder cases.
The signs from Najib, who is on the brink of becoming the country's next PM, are ominous. Here is a person who is more concerned about the people being subservient to him than in honestly and sincerely serving the people, the rakyat.
Dear PM-to-be, please change your attitude now or you will face even more opposition from the rakyat than your predecessor ever dreamed of.
Please be a servant of the people, worthy of the honour of the chair of PM - the highest servant in Malaysia.
Should UMNO still remain in power and rule this country with the help of the component parties, Malaysia is sure to slide further into oblivion. The "yet to be PM" had already display his arrogant way with no heart at all to serve the rakyat but propel himself to greater power.
Just to remind all BN component parties, the "yet to be PM" has yet to apologise for his racist slur in 1987 where he vowed to bathe the kris with Chinese blood.
There is no way the country can prosper and make advancement with such a racist leader and may have more skeletons in his baggage.
As per the "yet to be PM" urging the rakyat to respect the leaders, we will respect you all if you all were to leave BN now.

Jumping From The Frying Pan Into The Fire
Are we jumping from the frying pan into the fire?
Many were calling and even some within umno were pushing for the PM to step down and they got what they want today as reported by Malaysiakini.
PM not contesting, to quit in March
Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has decided not to defend his Umno president post and will quit in March next year when the ruling party meets at its annual general assembly.Abdullah told leaders of the 13 BN component parties at a meeting in PWTC this afternoon that he would be stepping down as prime minister in five months time. If there is no contest for umno president post, Najib will become the sixth prime minister of Malaysia by March 2009.
What is in store for Malaysians and the country with Najib as its prime minister.?
My earlier posting Is Najib Qualified To Be The Prime Minister Of Malaysia questioned whether he is the right candidate for the prime minister post.
So far there is no one from the oppositions or parties within the barisan national questioning the integrity and capability of Najib being the next prime minister of Malaysia.
From news report, what we know is, he is a racist and would call for the kris to be stained with Chinese blood, his controversy with the murder of a Mongolian lady, corruptions within his previously held defend minister post and many other skeletons he might carry.
Are we safe from this kind of character to be the prime minister and suppose to be the most powerful person in this country to govern us?
Are any reporters or journalists going to ask Najib point blank questions whether he is the right person to be the prime minister with all the baggages he is carrying with him.

Kudos To "The Penang Police Chief"
Good news for Penangnites. Malaysiakini has this report:
Effective and decisive police work constitutes reaching out to the people, understanding their problems and needs, and executing lasting solutions to criminal activities. The Penang police chief sees the value of improved cooperation between the police and the public, to achieve better security and safety in the state. Respond swiftly to calls for protection and ways to forge close working ties.
A very good move by the Penang Police Chief and we Penang lang hope that you walk the talk. We had heard many such promises from your counterparts at federal level and yet to see any improvement. We hope that your "Respond swiftly to calls for protection" is not the way that you did to journalist Tan Hoon Cheng, and that is to lock up under the ISA.
The very first thing is to see that your officers are friendly whenever anyone make a police report. Many have very difficult time when they make a police report, be it, an accident report, robbery report or just any report that needs the help of the police.
We hope to see more friendly police faces this coming Friday candle lights vigil at Dewan Sri Pinang.
Penangnites, please support this coming Friday, 9pm at Dewan Sri Pinang to observe the candle light vigils for RPK and all the ISA detainees. Fear not, as this is a peaceful vigil and the police chief had voice out that the police force are going to improve cooperation between the police and the public.
Another candle light vigil will be held in Penang, please attend and bring your friends and relatives to show support for this cause. It's peaceful and always have been.

Is Abolishing Of The ISA Call Weakening And Fading Away?

All news are now focus on the PM trauma and Umno members infighting for positions in their coming party election.
We must not be distracted and must continue to rally the call for all ISA detainees to be released and the repeal of the ISA Act.
We cannot just allow a few brave ones to carry out all the works and us just sitting at home comfortably and shouting in blogs that we are this and that with them in spirit.
There are calls from various blogs including this blog asking people to show up at the PJ sessions court to lend support for RPK. Malaysiakini has this report:
Raja Petra in PJ to face sedition charge
Internal Security Act detainee Raja Petra Kamarudin was bought to the Petaling Jaya Sessions Court this morning to face a sedition trial. He was brought in at about 8.30am, while outside the court, a handful of supporters were there to lend support.
"JUST A HANDFUL OF SUPPORTERS" reported by Malaysiakini while other online news reported as around three dozens people there.
Many have excuses for not being there, which is quite understandable, just like me, I am from Penang and could not be there. Although I am from Penang I had attended most ISA related calls within my region.
The Umno /Bn government is not listening to our call for the abolishing of the ISA and to release all the ISA retainees.
We must not relent but stay strong and continue to fight against this draconian ISA. Go and attend any ISA rallies or candle light vigil around your areas. Be there physically to tell the Umno /BN government that enough is enough.
