Is Najib Qualified To Be The Prime Minister Of Malaysia?

The news is spreading like wild fire that Najib will soon be the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Malaysiakini had reported on the UMNO Supreme Council meeting this morning and it looks like the DPM will be taking over soon. Malaysiakini reports;
The Umno supreme council dealt a blow to Abdullah Ahmad Badawi by putting off party polls and its annual general meeting to March next year in the bid to force the party leader to hand over power to his deputy. Details at Malaysikini

The fight among UMNO supporters is really heating up as to who will get the PM post. The only thing that they forget to question when they decide who should be the PM is "Is this person qualified to be the leader of this country?" He may be qualified to lead UMNO but is he really capable of running the country as well? Is he totally devoid of any wrong doings and carrying no skeleton in his closet.

At this point of time Najib looks likely to be the next PM unless something changes within UMNO the next few months.

Three Questions That Najib Must Clarify To The Rakyat If He wants To Be The Prime Minister Of Malaysia.

1) Is he willing to apologized for his racist and seditious remarks, that the "kris will flow with chinese blood" and he is now repent and will be the PM for all races.

2) As defend minister during the period when a mongolian woman was blasted away with C4, why he did not call for a full investigation on how the C4, explosive only available within his ministry, were taken out without anyone noticing or record of it.

3) Will he swear on the Koran that he is not corrupted and have never receive a single cent from any dealings while holding various government positions.

Malaysia is not short of talented people who are better qualified to become the Prime Minister. Why are we depending only on these few whose characters are being questioned ever so often. I am sure UMNO members can find within themselves someone better then this Badawi and Najib.

What right have you to demand the Koran to be used to justify Najib? Do not use the Koran just to prove a point there are many other ways to do that.

Yes, let' stop this silly 'Swear on Koran' biz.

Is Rosemajibbed qualified? Yes, if we compare with Firaun and Rip Van Winkle. They are all from the same 'we know better'racist mould

Do we want him as the next PM? Short answer - NO!! GOD SAVE US!!

Lastly, your English sucks - big time

And he is going to and wants to be the next PM of a multiracial country when he screamed for the blood of Chinese in that infamous rally? Accept for the UMNO Malays which non-Malay Malaysian is going to trust him ?

And yes, I agree with donplaypuks that your command of English is quite atrocius. You should try to improve on it before you do any more of your postings.

rauff,

I apologize if the use of the word has offended you. Will adjust to proper use of words in future posting. Thanks

donplaypuks,

I know my English sucks big time. The blog world has no ruling that one must have a perfect English writing skill before one can blog.

This is my blog and I am not writing as a journalist or acting on behalf of any online news media. I just write about my thoughts and as long as readers can understand what I am saying, that is good enough. I am not into any English writing contest or to impress anyone on my English.

Sometimes it is good to be poor in English. You can become one of our country leaders if you speak no English or understand no English which allows you to carry loads of cash around the world and defy the laws of English speaking country.

Thanks again for pointing out that my English sucks big time.

Dear Rauff

Let me preface my rebuttal with an apology. You are right, perfect command of English is not necessarily a pre-requisite for success or integrity.

The main reason I posted a comment was your subject matter was interesting and worth debating. So, kudos to you on that.

But my heckles went up when the headlines in Malaysiakini read 'Is Najib Qualify to be PM?' For a media company to perpetually make this kind of grammatical mistakes is unforgivable!

Lastly, you are right. Your blog, your call.

Whatever you do, keep on blogging in English.

Thanks again for your sincere comment.

First, Richard Loh, that is me is the owner of this blog.

rauff is one of the reader who posted a comment.

The mistake on the title is my fault and nothing to do with Malaysiakini. Malaysiakini website crawler just pull the header of the posting from my blog.

After posting I saw the mistake and immediately edit it but the wrong title had been crawled by Malaysiakini crawler.

I understand your frustration when someone like you who is proficient in the English Language read something written so poorly. I am sorry about that.

Najib represents all of Umno's sins - past and present - distilled and compressed into one pink-lipped ball of unmitigated sleaze. His father Razak masterminded May 13 and sacrificed hundreds of lives just to seize power (along with a small gang of others including the young Mahathir). As defence minister Najib broke all records in squandering public money to acquire expensive and useless ordnance, receiving colossal kickbacks in the process which he split with other Umno cronies and military top brass (this explains his enormous power base). Since the macabre murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu, Umno/BN has been accursed, and is doomed to political oblivion. Najib has only one thing going for him: all the crooks in Umno can rely on him to let them off the hook!
