Is Najib For All Malaysians Or A Man With Many Faces?

Can Najib be the Prime Minister for all Malaysians? A very big question mark and I can safely say that he will not and cannot be a true PM for all Malaysians. He may be talking big and I quote from Bernama report dated Oct 27:

"Come March, there will be no change of government, but only a change of leadership and we are still in one family," he said.

However, he added, of late questions were raised over the social contract, Federal Constitution and Article 153 which provided for Malay special rights.

"These we will protect as well as the rights and interests of the non-Malay communities in the country," he assured.

If he wants to protect the Malay special rights and also to protect the rights and interests of the non-Malay communities, why mince his words. Just one simple sentence to clarify the whole thing
"The Rights And Interest Of All Malaysians Will Be Protected"

To provide special rights to one particular person means that a part of another person rights have to be taken away to enable that particular person to gain that special rights.

Why must umno keep harping on the issue that certain quarters are questioning the social contract and the malay special rights. From my understanding there is nobody questioning these but umno just keep twisting the actual complaints about the system attributed to these special rights that have been misused and benefits to just a certain group of malays.

I just wonder what will be Najib response to this Malaysiakini report:

Chinese heads PKNS: Staff say 'No'
Six staff bodies of state agency Selangor Development Corporation (PKNS) have objected to the appointment of a senior official as acting general manager on grounds that she is Chinese.
'PKNS must be led by a Malay'

'We don't deny her capabilities'
Full Malaysiakini report here.

If there is no change of government and only the change in leadership as predicted by Najib, than I call upon Najib to study this statement by the Perak Raja Muda Raja Nazrin Shah obtain from Malaysia Today and admit that what Raja Nazrin Shah said are actually happening in this country and he will dare to make rights all the wrong doings of his predecessors.

Governments can no longer afford to formulate policies, laws and regulations on a discriminatory basis and in an ethical vacuum, said Perak Raja Muda Raja Nazrin Shah said.

“No segment of society must be disrespected, discredited and disenfranchised. No group should feel that their efforts and contributions go unrecognised and unwanted.

“We must abandon the ‘silo’ mentality where we only look up at what is happening and not beside us at what others are experiencing,” Raja Nazrin said at the 21st LawAsia Conference.

Bringing this about is one of the greatest challenges of governance today. For this reason, he said that there was case for empowering through the principle of inclusiveness.

“Only inclusive development through empowerment can societies become strong and we can achieve lasting outcomes,” he told lawyers, judges and students of law in his keynote address.

He said that not empowering citizens could lead to “a deep sense of alienantion and hostility” that could cause “ rash acts of violence that fracture societies.”

“We cannot morally turn our backs on the fundamental responsibility of ensuring that all stakeholders in our society, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, have a place under the sun.”

“But by closing our two eyes to problems does help in building unity and integration required to face the economic and social turmoil that is likely to result. “Empowerment is a precondition for an integrated and progressive Asia. Interestingly enough, the forces that can connect Asia also have the potential to empower its people.”

He cited five areas that could empower Asia.

“The first prerequisite of empowerment must be to strengthen the rule of law. The law has the capacity to unite and enfranchise the people of Asia like no other.

“The second source of empowerment is greater political participation. One of the essential tasks of Asia’s leaders is to convert residents into citizens and citizens into stakeholders.

“It is only when citizens are also stakeholders will there be the widest sense of ownership of problems and challenges. In order for Asian countries to weather this storm, governance systems must be broadly based and consultative to minimise non-cooperative behaviour.”

A third prerequisite for empowerment is that values and beliefs need to be changed and this is never a straightforward task.

A fourth source of empowerment is technology, particularly information and communication technology.

A fifth source of empowerment is education that breaks the chains of oppressive traditions and extremism.

“Education has paved the way for many to find their way out of poverty and for countries to sharpen their competitive edge,” Raja Nazrin added.

Unfortunately, he said that good quality education was still a dream for many.

Jokes By Our Jokers Entertained Worldwide

Reading the daily news from Malaysiakini, Malaysia Today, The Malaysian Insider and political blogs can be fun. Our country news are full of jokes by our jokers who thought that they are smarter than the rakyat just because they are leaders with absolute powers and of course above the law as well. They assume that they own this country and the rakyat must bow to them and praise them at whatever they do, good or bad, most of the time bad lah, but to them they can twist and turn about the bad things that they do because of their power, and remember, they are above the law as well.

The best joke of the year, in my opinion, is of course "they need to ISA'ed you in order to protect you". For RPK case, I think they want to provide the same reasoning, that is to protect him from harm because he had insulted islam in his blog posting, fearing muslims might go after him but reconsidered and just stick to insulting islam because one cannot used the same reasoning twice. This reasoning is now being challenge in the Habeas Corpus hearing in court.

Politicians and elected representatives are suppose to be educated adults and should know whether they are being bullied. The situation with Malaysia's politicians is whether they allow themselves to be bullied but because of some personal incentives gains they preferred to keep quiet about it.

After over four decades of being bullied with complete silence suddenly they woke up one day and found out that they are being bullied. Presumably it must be the 8.5 Richter Scale earthquake on 08/03/08 that shock them from their slumber. Top leaders of component parties are screaming that they are being bullied and the reply from their taiko as reported by Malaysiakini:

Abdullah: Umno is not a bully
Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has dismissed suggestions that Umno has over-dominated the ruling Barisan Nasional coalition at the expense of other component parties.

The jokes does not end here. Using the rakyat hard earn money to purchase equipments at double the price compare to other countries purchasing the same equipments at half the price. This is not a ringgit or two lost but in billions of ringgit, mind you.

Because of power and monetary gains, the government will never admit that they are the jokers providing all the daily jokes to entertain the whole world. They will continue to jokes, (even though the rakyat does not find it amusing) as long as these jokes can keep them in power and their bank accounts keep on growing.

There are of course tonnes of jokes by these jokers over these years and more to come. If you have any jokes by these jokers maybe you can present them in the comment slot.

Makkal Sakti It Shall Be For MalaysiaKini

A very interesting report by Malaysiakini:
Goverment declares Hindraf an illegal organisation
The government today declared the Hindu Rights Actions Force (Hindraf) an illegal organisation with immediate effect.
Home Minister Syed Hamid Albar said the decision was made after the ministry was satisfied with facts and evidence that showed "Hindraf had and was being used for unlawful purposes and posed a threat to public order and morality". Malaysiakini full report here.

HINDRAF is not an organization nor party but an imaginary peaceful thought in the human minds. How can it be unlawful and a threat to public order and morality. Syed Hamid Albar, because of your power you just want to intimidate the rakyat to succumb to your own fantasy of what peace is. You can have HINDRAF but you can never control or take the human minds with the power vested in you, by the rakyat, just remember that.

We want to see how many imaginary thoughts the powerful botak wants to take away. To all EX-HINDRAF supporters, do not feel bad about botak taking away HINDRAF to satisfy his own ego.

We will rise together with another imaginary human thoughts and that is

Makkal Sakti

I would like to quote from YB Lim Kit Siang Blog:

Deepavali wishes to Hindu Malaysians and all Malaysians – Makkal Sakti so that good can triumph over evil in our motherland.

Wither The Bold And Big Talk From MCA And Gerakan

The ISA today is not used for the intended purpose of fighting the communists but to sustain the life line of umno/bn. It is very clearly shown these last two months how the ISA was used to detain blogger, journalist, MP and activist not that they are a threat to the country security and neither are they communists but a thorn in the flesh of the ruling government.

An opposition-initiated petition calling for a debate on the Internal Security Act (ISA) in the Dewan Rakyat when it reconvenes after the Deepavali break received total rejection by the bn MPs except for Billy Abit, a five-term MP for Hulu Rajang and vice-president of Parti Rakyat Sarawak.

Malaysiakini reported that Billy Abit Jol is the sole Barisan Nasional MP to have signed the petition urging the prime minister to prioritise the debate on the Internal Security Act when Parliament reconvenes on Wednesday. Malaysiakini full report here.

The petition signed by 85 MPs - 81 from Pakatan Rakyat, three independents and one from BN - was delivered to Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s office yesterday morning.

On my earlier posting These ISA Detainees Are Not Forgotten, I mentioned that "Can we count on them, I doubt it" proves that I am right. MCA and Gerakan, as usual can only blow hot air at their general assemblies and conferences but cannot stand up to umno taiko status and so ever willing to bow to their demand.

Here is the recap of what I wrote earlier.

MCA said they won't drop the ISA issue and at MCA’s 55th annual general assembly MCA adopted a resolution urging the Government to review the Internal Security Act
while at Gerakan’s 37th national delegates conference, Gerakan passed the resolution calling for the repeal of the ISA.

Can we count on them, I doubt it. We the rakyat must voice out loud and clear to the government that the ISA must GO. The final option, if all calls fall on deaf ears, is to vote them out totally in the next general election.

Can we believe MCA and Gerakan are able to practice what they preach? They failed to sign the simple ISA petition after all their big talks about it, demonstrate that they can never ever work and fight for the rakyat but a running dog to umno!

Lies, Deceits, Power And Money In Our MalaysiaKini

Malaysiakini reported that:
Kuala Lumpur police chief DCP Datuk Mohammad Sabtu Osman said eight men, three women and a child were detained for representing or acting for an oulawed organisation or group under Section 48 of the Societies Act.

They will continue to use various indiscriminate actions disguise as security measures to confuse the public from the real truth of what is happening to the country.

There is no telling when these will ever end. As long as umno/bn still cling on to power, the lies, deceits, power and money play will be the norm and practice of all the ruling politicians.

We are entering into a devastating stage but the ruling government are still in denial mood. They are smart enough to cover their crimes by creating imaginary religious and racial tension situations at the expense of the rakyat.

The dramas they put up are to distract the rakyat from their incompetence of running the country. There are signs everywhere that shows the cover up of the murder of a foreign lady, corruptions among top leaders, the breakdown and infighting within umno and the tight rein they have over the judiciary and PDRM.

What better way to silence RPK for his vicious attacks that may send some of them to jail, ISA'ed RPK. Fanning untrue reports about Teresa Kok through their control medias and have her spent 8 days in jail under the ISA. Tan Hoon Cheng needs to be protected by jailing her under the ISA.

These abuse of power to detain all three of them under the ISA are distractions and letting the rakyat busy harping and busy burning candle lights against the ISA while they continue to mismanage the country. They will continue to use the ISA indiscriminately against anyone at the slightest provocation against the top leaders.

Next, they ban the Hindraf movement. It's not an organization neither is it a political party but it's in the form of human being spiritually, interacting among each other for strength. What are they really banning, nothing, but again here, is to distract the rakyat from their mismanagement.

The latest distraction is the detaining of a six years old girl. Why do they do it knowing very well that the whole public will voice out against them. They could not care less so long as the top leaders mismanagement are obscured through these kind of indiscriminate actions.

But they are so wrong! They can continue to abuse their power but not for long. We have the patience for the past 51 years of the abuse that they throw at us. We can wait patiently for another few years before we "The People's Power" will throw them out.

Will That Blogger Defend Karpal Singh

Malaysiakini has this report:
Karpal suspended for two days from Parliament

DAP chairperson Karpal Singh has been suspended for two days from Parliament for accusing Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia of being "not serious" and "playful".
Malaysiakini full report here.

We has a blogger who defended Utusan on the pretext of "freedom of the press" even though the news reported are not fully clarified and considered false. In the word of this particular blogger "BUT I don't think politicians like Teresa Kok and Najib Razak should SUE at the slightest of provocation".

On the pretext of "freedom of expression" can I question why the speaker invokes his powers under Article 44 (3) against Bukit Gelugor, and suspend Karpal for two days for using disrespectful words in the House.

Can we say the same here, the speaker and all MPs are politicians and the speaker should not invoke his powers at the slightest provocation.

I do not see that blogger comes in defend of Karpal or is he saying that politicians must respect the rules of parliament and they deserve to be punished for going against it, whereas, the news media like utusan can go against all principle of journalism and when confronted will use "freedom of the press" as defence.

Malaysia is in such a sorry state, that all rules of laws are turn upside down including bloggers manipulating the main principle of laws to suit their own benefits.

The Three Heroines

This ISA act, detaining without trial, can happen to your daughters. They cannot justify any reasons for these three women being detained under the ISA (since released). This shows that they can abuse this ISA act. They can simply arrest anyone when they feel like it, when their power is threaten or simply put, "Abuse Of Power".
