Dewan Sri Pinang Candle Light Vigil

Around 200 people attended the third consecutive Fridays Candle Light Vigil. As usual there were a few policemen and SB hanging around.

The candle light vigil started at 9pm with the names of all the ISA detainees read out as well as the time frame they are incarnated. Tonight no VIPs were invited to speak, instead the audiences were allow to say their piece about the ISA. Only one person stood up to speak.

People were encouraged to place their signatures on a big banner which will be presented to the ISA detainees. Among the audience who came to support the candle light vigil was the MP for Bukit Mertajam, YB Chong Eng.

The candle light vigil ended after 30 minutes.
