16th September For Better Or For Worst

Seven days and counting. The talk about "Change Of Government" has brought cheers to many and frighten many as well.

The country is in turmoil, from the common people facing high inflation to top leaders chanting the war path and racist remarks spewed out causing anxiety and hurts to others with no action taken even though the sedition act is available to halt it but the leader in power seems not eager to act fairly.

To the majority who voted against the ruling government, they are waiting impatiently for the change of government.

From an ex-prisoner to Member's Of Parliament, from party Advisor to Party and Opposition Leader, Anwar Ibrahim has been instrumental for calling for the change of government after the opposition causes a big tremor and cracks in the ruling government since the 080308 general election.

Can 16th September be written in the history book that the BN government after being in power for 51 years is toppled by Anwar Ibrahim?

Can it happen, only Anwar himself will know and for us, we have to wait for that day. But for me, my take is that it can not happen but I only can wish that it happen as we need new capable leaders to overcome the sad state that our country is facing now.

The country is now facing far worst than the economy problem. The racial divide and the tension spark by the racist UMNO could lead our country into another riot. This can be stopped but UMNO leaders in greed of power does not want to take action to diffuse the racial tension. It is very sad to see that after 51 years of Independence's the country cannot be united as Malaysians and living peacefully together without any racism.

Why I said 16th September, the date for Anwar to take over the government cannot happen.

If Anwar has the so call 30 frogs to jump over, it would have happen already and not wait till 16th September. The 16th September dateline is used to try and entice the eastern states MPs as the date is an important date, i.e Malaysia Day since Anwar has yet to get the numbers to take over the government.

Power and greed are the symbol of BN politicians and who in the right mind would want to give up these precious incentives. Their sole purpose in getting into politics are to enrich themselves and not really to fulfill their pledges to work for the rakyat. Should they jump over to the opposition, they will have to give up everything that they have yearn for.

I hope that Anwar can proof me wrong and change the government come 16th September for the good of this nation.

The date is not 16 Sept. It is said to be 1 to 3 days after 16 Sept. This is because of the trip.

I believe Anwar has the numbers, he mentioned 41 as the number. They only need 29 to get simple majority.

It is on track. Sarawakian and Sabahan MP wanted 16 Sept because most Peninsular people don't know what the date means. They want to remind them of the date.
