Goverment slashes petrol price by 15 sen
The government announces that price of RON97 petrol will go down by 15 sen from RM2.70 to RM2.55 per litre at the pumps beginning midnight.
And this is the news on the 14th August 2008
Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today reiterated the government will not reduce petrol prices before Sept 1 in the wake of falling global prices.
I had expected the petrol price to be reduced just a few days before the Permatang Pauh polling day. Many I presume also expected this to happen.
The question is why must the PM, a leader of a country always like to lie. Permatang Pauh could be the "killing field" to bury umno and the desperation to stay alive has cause umno to do all kinds of desperate things.
