For those like me who have no Astro depends on RTM1 live coverage of the Olympic Opening Ceremony. RTM promote about the Olympic Games months ago and what a disappointment we had when the Opening Ceremony was telecast live a few hours ago.
First we miss almost half an hour of the starting opening when RTM1 begins at 8:30pm.
Second, too frequent disruption by advertisements.
Third, the two commentators trying to outdo each other by talking too much. We want to hear the music, songs and what are being announced but these two chap keep on talking.
Lastly, RTM1 just finish the program after the Olympic light was torched. They just ignore the display of the fireworks.
Well maybe the cost is too much and they have to make good with whatever fund they have. What a loser. Thumb down for RTM1 live telecast of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.
We will see what happen on the closing ceremony.

I KNOW!!!
SUCKY, MAN!!
I wasn't even sure if the Malaysian contingent was ever on screen...
Yeah. Agree with you. Always berehat! berehat! Damn! There can offer RM1 million for a gold medal but cannot even provide a decent tv coverage of the event. Malaysia Boleh! Unless...we pay for Astro services. Damn!
Yes RTM sucks! Started late and finished early. What kind of live telecast is that? Who wants to watch the commentators in the studio talking nonsense when there's live fireworks on display? And as usual, the RTM commentators did a rather lousy job commentating on the opening ceremony, just like when they commented on other sporting events.
